This was our 2nd time renting Soulard Condo from Ashley and Kamal. This time we booked with them directly to save some money. The owners are very accommodating and their response time is excellent. This was our second time staying in one of STL Vacation Homes' properties, and both times it has been a wonderful experience! The homes are clean and cozy, and very updated. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a good meal if you would rather stay in, and all the bedrooms and bathroom are equipped with extra bedding, pillows, towels, toiletries in case you forgot something - its all there! Its a safe, quiet neighborhood that is still close to restaurants, popular attractions, and nightlife, so it really is the perfect location. Had a great weekend with another couple and the Dogwood house is perfect for four adults. We especially love the rounded front door.  It's close to everything we love to visit, and Ashley and Kamal are excellent hosts with wonderful communication. The absolute best place! They really have taken every single detail into consideration, and I appreciated how prepared the house was for our 1-year-old. This was our second experience staying in a Dogtown area home, owned by our hosts.  As with the first home, we were delighted with our accommodation.  It was very clean, the beds were so comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom well supplied for our needs; the ambiance was inviting, but not overbearing. Laundry facilities in the home were available, a big help!  The neighborhood was beautiful and most importantly, Quiet! We've stayed at one of their homes 4 years now (3 years in a row at the Soulard location).  We can't say enough great things!  The location is great- a few minutes to multiple attractions in STL.  They have taken great care in truly making it a home away from home experience.  The attention to detail is amazing- night lights in the bathroom and hallway, laundry/dishwasher pods, board games, extra pillows/blankets, binder with recommendations on things to do, the list goes on and on. My family has been truly amazed by the quality of our stays in Ashley and Kamal’s properties. We stayed in the Dogtown house last Christmas, and in the Soulard apartment this past week, and both are truly spectacular options. Both homes have exceptional attention to detail that shows a level of care you don’t normally see in a vacation rental. Ashley and Kamal have thought of everything! The homes are well baby proofed, and little niceties are available throughout— dish and laundry detergent, empty laundry baskets, extra linens, toiletries, a dust buster, a guest Netflix account, etc. I truly wanted for nothing during my stay. Everything is clearly labeled and easy to find, and both properties are spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. I appreciated the blackout curtains for letting my little ones sleep well! I also especially liked the deep tub in the bathroom of the Soulard apartment, as well as the powerful ceiling fans. Check in and checkout instructions are clearly communicated and easy to use. And our hosts are exceptionally responsive. When we stayed in Dogtown there was a neighborhood-wide internet service outage due to a record-breaking cold snap. Even though the service outage was outside of their control, Ashley and Kamal persistently tried to restore service, and when that was not possible, offered us a gracious discount on our stay. As long as these properties are available, we will stay with Ashley and Kamal every time we visit our family in Saint Louis. The only hard part will be deciding between the cozy Dogtown house and the elegant Soulard apartment!
